The Exploits of Moominpappa (U*)

Family Film Club

Moominpapa and a friend walk through a forest, holding golden eggs.

Returning to Family Film Club after a sold out show earlier this year, we’re delighted to present another screening of this charming new Moomin adaptation.

Moominpappa is the star of this gentle story as he regales the audience with tales of his adventurous youth – escaping an orphanage, meeting with an inventor, finding a ghost and sailing a boat out on the ocean. Directed by Ira Carpelan, a veteran of several Moomins films, this is a fantastic chance to introduce little cinema goers to the timeless characters created by Tove Jansson

Workshop: Please accept our sincere apologies, the planned free workshop has had to be cancelled due to staff sickness. We are so sorry for any disappointment and inconvenience caused. The film will still go ahead in the cinema at 11am and our usual selection of books, games, toys and worksheets will be out in the foyer from 10.30am.
