Azur and Asmar: The Prince’s Quest (U) + Pre-film Workshop

Family Film Club

A group of well dressed people stand together, one bows down to another whilst a child looks on.

A fantastic chance to see this rarely seen and intricately animated tale from master storyteller, Michel Ocelot, director of the Kirikou movies.

Two boys of different families, Azur and Asmar, are brought up as brothers and nursed by the same mother – but one day Azur’s father cruelly separates them.

As adults, they are reunited and embark on a quest to marry the legendary Djin Fairy that featured in their mother's bedtime stories. A lavish Arabian Nights-style animation full of sweeping adventure and magical beings, this award-winning film from Michel Ocelot is unmissable on the big screen.
