Dawn Landes & Friends Perform The Liberated Woman’s Songbook

with special guest Peggy Seeger

Celebrate a landmark moment in feminist history with the folk singer-songwriter Dawn Landes and Friends, including the iconic Peggy Seeger.

Highlighting the musical stories from women's activism throughout history, Dawn Landes and Friends have reimagined songs from The Liberated Women's Songbook (1971).

Women have always had to fight for their voices to be heard, and these stories of women's activism connect their lives from 1830 to 1970 and the present day.

Landes and her band will be joined by folk legend Peggy Seeger and an array of esteemed guests including singers Lail Arad, Bridgette Amofah, Maguire, Sylvie Lewis and Skylar Gudasz.

Peggy Seeger is one of the Western world's most influential folk singers, known for authoring the feminist anthem 'I Wanna Be an Engineer'.
