Cornelius

Shibuya-kei pioneer Cornelius makes his Hall debut as part of the act's 30th anniversary tour.

Experimental pop auteur Cornelius has built a reputation for pushing boundaries. His unique style of art-pop has earned him a legion of fans worldwide. His breakthrough album Fantasma (1997) blended motorik rhythms, French pop melodies, Beach Boys harmonies and glitched electronics. He's since released seven studio albums and has collaborated on live music with the Yellow Magic Orchestra and Yoko Ono’s Plastic Ono band.

Back with his seventh full-length album, Dream In Dream (2023) combines intimate moods with innovative layers of electronic and acoustic sounds. In this performance, you'll experience a complete synchronization of sound, visuals and lights as Cornelius invites you to drift between reality and dreams.

Opening the show is atmospheric folk music composer, musician and singer, Ichiko Aoba.

This performance will contain haze.
