In a beautiful collaboration Billie Marten takes to the stage for a special one-off show with the pioneering Her Ensemble, performing reimagined songs from all four albums.

Billie Marten joins forces with friends from Her Ensemble to create this one-off show, performing songs from all four albums, reimagined for a 24-piece ensemble. Director and classically trained violinist Ellie Consta began writing string parts for her housemate's songs during lockdown, revealing a whole new way of working; highlighting the contrasts between the popular & classical music worlds.

Working together as if in a band, Ellie has lovingly reimagined Billie’s delicate indie-folk music, animating Billie's intricately crafted songs in a new way.

With the aim to positively impact the gender gap and gender stereotypes in the classical music industry, Her Ensemble is the first UK group of its kind made up of predominantly women, non-binary, gender minority musicians.

Understated prog-tinged indie pop/rock Westerman provide support.
