Young Barbican Night: Alice Neel

black and white photo of Alice Neel at a party

Young Barbican members take over the Gallery and Conservatory, for a night of exclusive access to Alice Neel: Hot Off The Griddle.

Inspired by the life and work of Alice Neel, the evening celebrates our contemporary community of young Londoners. Join us to visit the exhibition, connect with other Young Barbican members, and engage with a range of art activities.

In the Gallery there will be live poetry performances animating the space, alongside guided, bilingual tours of the exhibition with Daniela Galan Lozada, founder of Amalgama. The Barbican Conservatory will be open for you to explore, with a bar and DJ Nadī playing music, and a host of activities to get involved in, ranging from life drawing with artist Phoebe Boswell, and drag bingo with Señorita Rita
