The Creator (12A) (AD)

A soldier holds a gun in his hand whilst lying on the floor, ready to shoot.

From the director of Rogue One comes an epic sci-fi battle between humans and AI that asks: what does it really mean to have humanity?

From director/co-writer Gareth Edwards (Rogue One, Godzilla) comes an epic sci-fi action thriller set amidst a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence.

Joshua (John David Washington, known for Tenet and BlacKkKlansman), an x-special forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife (Gemma Chan), is recruited to hunt down and kill 'The Creator' to win the ongoing war against AI.

What he discovers, is the mass weapon of destruction he is ordered to destroy is a mere child (Madeleine Yuma Voyles).

Arguably this year's sleekest sci-fi movie, The Creator is an epic action that asks serious and poignant questions about the ethics of robotics, in a future that does not feel all that far from our own day.
