Reality (12A)

Still from Reality

Sydney Sweeney is hypnotic as Reality Winner in the unbelievable true story based on FBI interrogations of the NSA whistle-blower election scandal.

On June 3, 2017, Reality Winner finds two FBI agents at her home in Augusta, Georgia. An Air Force veteran and yoga instructor, Winner spends the next two hours being questioned about her work as an intelligence contractor – specifically, whether she leaked a classified document about Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. elections.

HBO's latest drama is the shocking see-it-to-believe it tale of the former Air Force member Reality Winner who leaked classified documents about Russia’s interference into the 2016 US election online.

Directed by Tina Satter, who first adapted this story from headlines for audiences as a play in 2019 called Is This A Room.

Cementing Sydney Sweeney (White Lotus, Euphoria and The Handmaid's Tale) as one of the stars of this generation as she brings a subtle force that elevates the film.
