Learn how to make the perfect pizza margherita at this fun, participatory workshop with Barbican Kitchen's Chef.

Get stuck in at this interactive workshop in making the pizza margherita. Italian pizza Chef Victor guides you through kneading techniques and understanding fermentation times. The pizza margherita celebrates Italian unification. Tomatoes, mozzarella and basil represent its national flag's colours: red, white and green. Victor guides you in selecting the best flour and toppings to make the ideal pizza.

You'll leave with a fundamental knowledge in pizza making, plus anything that you make on the day. Plus enjoy a complimentary pastry and hot drink and the chance to chat with other Members on the morning.

We’ve reduced the number of participants for our cooking workshops so you’ll get even more guidance from our Chef.

Arrive via the Lakeside Terrace entrance on level G from 8.30am to enjoy your complimentary hot drink and pastry. The workshop will start promptly at 9am and finish at 10am so Barbican Kitchen can open to the public.

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans, not suitable for those with an intolerance to gluten.
