Set on a remote island off the West coast of Ireland during the Irish Civil War in 1923, The Banshees of Insherin reunites In Bruges co-stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson as lifelong friends Pádraic and Colm, who find themselves at an impasse when Colm unexpectedly cuts all ties with Pádraic.

Aided by his quick-witted sister Siobhán and troubled young islander Dominic played by Kerry Condon and Barry Keoghan, Pádraic endeavours to repair the relationship, refusing to take no for an answer. But Pádraic’s repeated efforts only strengthen his former friend’s resolve and when Colm delivers a desperate ultimatum, events swiftly escalate, with shocking consequences.
