Creature (12A)

Creature still

Pushing the boundaries of cinema, choreographer Akram Khan and director Asif Kapadia present a dystopian love story in an Arctic research station.

Think Frankenstein meets Swan Lake meets 2001: A Space Odyssey, and you still won't be close to scratching the surface of Creature

The genius collaboration between Laurence Olivier award winning Choreographer Akram Khan MBE, Academy Award winning director Asif Kapadia and the English National Ballet brings us Creature, telling the tale of a being who falls in love with a cleaner in a tragic and violent world.

This cinematic journey unites two characters who together dare to dream of escape. Set in an Arctic research centre, Creature fuses film, dance, sound and dialogue to portray the earthly need for human connection; and the unquenchable hunger of the powerful.
