afterFORM: ETHZ Parity Group

Architecture on Stage

Group of people seated on the floor around a round table

Charlotte Schaeben

This lecture is part of afterFORM, a series of five talks profiling emerging voices in Swiss architecture that are being presented with support from the Embassy of Switzerland in the United Kingdom.

Born at the heart of the Department of Architecture of the ETH Zurich, The Parity Group is a fluid, grassroots initiative. The group emerged in 2014, and brings together students, assistants, lecturers, and teachers. Today, the Parity Group is a platform for everyone who wants to foreground debate and action around the essential issues of parity, diversity, inequality, and institutional critique. The group organizes the yearly Parity Talks, a format perceived beyond the boundaries of the institution.

The group will be represented by Angelika Hinterbrandner, Shen He and Torsten Lange.

The Architecture Foundation, in association with the Barbican, presents Architecture on Stage – a programme of talks by the world's leading architects.
