Director Maz Currie presents a powerful and authentic tale of gender, racial and sexual identity in modern day New Zealand with Caz' story.

Returning home for the first time since he transitioned - home being the remote Kiwi town of Rūrangi, Caz attempts to reconnect with family and friends despite the profound changes of the intervening years. Including, Caz's ex-boyfriend Jem (Arlo Green) who is still hurt by Caz sudden disappearance from their lives.
