THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Over the last four years, Michael Leader and Jake Cunningham have been venturing deep into the glorious world of Studio Ghibli on their podcast Ghibliotheque. After 100-plus episodes, they have covered every major Studio Ghibli release, interviewed Ghibli filmmakers (Goro Miyazaki, Toshio Suzuki), cheerleaders (Helen McCarthy, Jonathan Ross) and mega-fans (Rebecca Sugar, Arlo Parks, Maisie Williams), and even travelled to Japan for the ultimate Ghibli pilgrimage.
Last year, Ghibliotheque published the lavishly-illustrated hardback Ghibliotheque - The Unofficial Guide to the Films of Studio Ghibli, which charts the world-conquering rise of Studio Ghibli film-by-film.
Now, they're coming to the Barbican to share what they have learned along the way.
Perfectly timed so you can take part as the Ghiblioteque live studio audience before the evening performance of My Neighbour Totoro. The Unofficial Guide to the Films of Studio Ghibli is available from Barbican Shop, Level G.
Please arrive at 16.45 as recording will start at 17.00
