The Bear's Famous Invasion of Sicily (PG) (LC)

Family Film Club

Bears' Invasion of Sicily

This film, based on the classic novel written and illustrated by Dino Buzzati, is a stunning animation full of wonder and excitement.

When two entertainers shelter in a cave from a powerful blizzard, they come across an ageing bear.

Desperate not to be eaten, they begin to tell the bear a story of Leonce, the King of Bears and how events were set in motion that caused a great war between the world of humans and bears.

With a visually stunning animation style and a story that also works as an anti-war allegory, this tale of intrigue and adventure is not to be missed.
