Fanna-Fi-Allah

Sufi Qawwali

a black and white composite image of the performers

Feel the ancient wisdom of Fanna-Fi-Allah’s Sufi Qawwali, a soulful, ecstatic and stirring musical experience.

Fanna-Fi-Allah gives us a glimpse into the vibrant, living musical heart of the Sufi mystics: with powerful soaring choruses accompanied by the energetic rhythms of tabla and group clapping. A passionate and fiery art form, Qawwali music weaves ancient poetry and intense rhythm with complex melodies to invoke an atmosphere of reverence and devotional ecstasy, catharsis and transformation.

The internationally renowned ensemble have spent twenty years performing around the globe carrying the flame of tradition, devotion, and mysticism – and enthralling audiences with their passionate style and inspiring musical precision. They’ve released ten albums to date, plus an eight-hour documentary series, Music of the Mystics, becoming one of the most popular traditional Qawwali ensembles of the present day.
