Young Barbican Nights: Reimagining Spaces as Playgrounds

Join us as we celebrate the radical spirit of play and our new online exhibition, Regenerate, showcasing work made by this year’s Young Visual Arts Group. 

This workshop is led by Young Visual Arts Group members, Sally Barton and Ioana Simion. They will encourage you to reimagine ‘spaces’ as playgrounds and design your own sculptural maquette made from paper, found imagery and recycled materials.

Take part in a discussion about the importance of pursuing playfulness in art making and participating meaningfully in our communities.
