An opportunity to experience the highs and lows from the 1964 Olympics through the eyes of the Japanese women’s volleyball team 57 years after their iconic victory.

This exhilarating and energetic documentary highlights the golden age of women’s volleyball in post war Japan. The Witches of the Orient celebrates the journey of the team from inception to glory.

With original footage from the 1964 Olympics and the enchanting addition of animation, Julian Faraut (John McEnroe: In the Realm of Perfection) fiercely brings this tale to life.
