Being the Ricardos (15) (AD)

Parent and Baby Screening

Javier Bardem and Nicole Kidman seated side by side in characters as Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball

Written and directed by Oscar winner Aaron Sorkin, Being the Ricardos brings to life the private lives of 1950s America’s most beloved TV couple

Starring Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem as Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, Being the Ricardos takes place over a pivotal week in the lives of the couple as they contend with events that threaten their careers and their marriage.

From the Monday table read through to the Friday audience filming, the couple fend off allegations of communism, infidelity and losing touch. With a flare for adapting real life stories, Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network, The Trial of the Chicago 7) promises an explosive and intricate peak behind the velvet curtain.
