No Time to Die (12A) (AD)

Daniel Craig as James Bond, sitting in a silver car, in a still from No Time to Die

Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga (Sin Nombre, True Detective), MI6’s most famous fictional spy is back for another international and death-defying adventure, with a theme song from Billie Eilish.

After the exertions of Spectre, we thought James Bond (Daniel Craig) had left it all behind for happiness with Dr Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux). But happiness never seems to last for Bond, and once again he’s called back to deal with the threat from a new villain: Rami Malek’s Lyutsifer Safin. Plus, the world he knows has moved on, with brand new 007 Nomi (Lashana Lynch) leading, alongside M (Ralph Fiennes) and Moneypenny (Naomie Harris).

With a typically stellar cast including Jeffrey Wright, Ana de Armas, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear and Christoph Waltz, what looks to be Craig’s last outing as Bond surely can’t disappoint.
