Family Film Week

A still from The Secret Gardem (2020)

This latest adaptation of the classic novel from the producers of the Harry Potter films and Paddington, is a magical re-telling packed with mystery, wonder and exciting elements of adventure.

When orphan Mary Lennox is sent to live with her uncle on his grand country estate, she discovers a cousin she never knew existed and an abandoned garden that will transform their lives forever. Starring Colin Firth, Julie Walters and introducing Dixie Edgerickx as Mary.

+Short film: Talia
Eight year old Talia is a keen gardener and longs to stretch her green fingers into the dirt, but her father has become afraid of her leaving the house. When she forms an unlikely friendship with her next-door neighbour, Talia soon rediscovers a connection to nature at the local allotment. Made and shot in Bristol, this is a wonderful, sensitive drama about the healing power of nature.

We’re really excited to welcome Talia director Cara Bamford and producer Matt Gras to introduce their film before the screening.
