Family Film Week

A flock of snow geese whorl over sand in a still from Earthflight

This fantastic, family friendly documentary all about birds, their habits and migration patterns has to be seen on the big screen to fully appreciate their awe-inspiring movements.

Filmed by BBC Earth, featuring dizzying aerial photography and featuring starling murmurations, soaring eagles and flocks of flamingos – this wondrous film is an absolute must for nature lovers of all ages and is narrated by Cate Blanchett

In two sessions, at 11am before the film, and at 12.30pm afterwards, hand shadowgrapher Drew Colby is with us inside the cinema to to give a free interactive demonstration, using the film as a starting point for his wonderful creations. Come along and be amazed by how he builds intricate shapes, animals and characters using only his hands and the light on screen.
