A woman haunted by her past seeks treatment for her infertility from mystical healers in this dark Kosovar drama

Lume and her husband survived the Kosovo war in the late 1990s, but tragically they lost their young daughter Zana, who was killed in crossfire.  Years later, Lume is still trying to come to terms with the tragedy and struggles with infertility whilst living with her husband and mother-in-law on their remote farm.

In a desperate attempt to get pregnant, after she is threatened with her husband taking a second wife, Lume decides to visit some faith healers in the hope they can treat her. The landscape and atmosphere of a recently war-torn country play a large role is this beautifully acted and powerful drama.
