A poetic look at rural life in stunning drama by Pema Tseden.

Tibetan director Pema Tseden (Jinpa, 2018) gives us Balloon, a drama which follows the hardships of a family within a rural Tibetan community. Tacking the topics of grief, pregnancy and spirituality, this touching film subtly enables viewers to question our own free will.
