This concert will be available to watch On Demand while we can’t be with you in person. Click to buy, and your stream will be available to watch for 48 hours.

Join one of the world’s pre-eminent physicists for a mind-bending musical voyage through space and time, set to a soundtrack inspired by the great unknowns of the Universe.

What does it mean to live small, finite lives in an infinite Universe? Prepare to confront some of the biggest questions of them all: questions of life, death, and the very meaning of our existence.

Cox draws on spectacular imagery and discoveries from 21st century cosmology to begin to provide some answers, while Dalia Stasevska conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra in works by composers who grappled with these same questions through their music.

Approximate running time: 100 mins

Co-produced by the Barbican and BBC SO
