Society of Graphic Fine Art

A Barbican Library Foyer Exhibition

A view of the City of London by Society of Fine Graphic Art member Harriet Brigdale

Thirty members of the Society of Graphic Fine Art show the best of their current work.

The Society of Graphic Fine Art is the only national society dedicated to drawing in all forms and mediums.  In 1919 the Society came into being at the time of the rise of modernism and the feeling that the traditional drawing skills were no longer needed.  The SGFA hopes to be a leading voice in the resurgence of drawing today. Following this show in the Barbican Library, the next Open show will be in July at the Mall Galleries, London.
