Chick Corea Trilogy

A picture divided into three featuring Chick Corea and two other artists

A meeting of jazz masters as pianist Chick Corea performs with rhythm section powerhouses Christian McBride on bass and drummer Brian Blade.

Performing a selection of pieces from across the American Songbook and jazz classics – from the likes of Miles Davis and Joe Henderson alongside Corea’s own back-catalogue – it’s clear to see the easy rapport between the three. Not only is their playing impeccable, but in the words of Chick himself, ‘there is a lot of give and take in our music and it’s always a lot of fun.’

It’s a trio that earned two Grammy Awards from their first release in 2014, and continues to thrive on their long-awaited follow-up album, Trilogy 2, out this autumn on Concord Records.

Cancellation

We’re sorry to announce that Chick Corea has cancelled his European tour, including this concert.

Other concerts as part of his tour had been cancelled by venues in mainland Europe in response to restrictions brought in by Governments relating to COVID-19, making it impossible for Chick Corea to continue the tour. Ticketholders will receive a full refund, and Chick Corea and the Barbican will work to reschedule the concert in the future.

We apologise for any disappointment caused.
