A woman wearing lipstick and pearls looks forward

Druid presents Tom Murphy’s atmospheric version of Chekhov’s masterpiece.

Bringing together one of the world’s great classic plays with one of Ireland’s greatest writers, and starring Derbhle Crotty, this is a fresh production of Chekov's play about land, legacy, and the struggle between tradition and change.

This will be the first major production of Tom Murphy’s work since his death in 2018.
