Teenage Riot (15*)

Underwire Film Festival 2019

girls standing together at a party moodily

Growing up is hard to do, and these short films show us young women finding their feet

Whether it’s the pressure of going out, balancing faith and modern life, or just getting kissed at the school disco, the protagonists of these stories have to find themselves as they face everyday and extraordinary pressures.

These stories of coming of age explore memories of friendships past, first loves, new friends and standing up to bullies, using different genres and styles to get to the heart of what it means to come of age.
