Members are invited to come and explore this new exhibition after hours.

This landmark exhibition explores the electrifying history of cabarets, cafés and clubs in modern art across the world, from London to New York, Paris, Mexico City, Berlin, Vienna, and Ibadan. Discover over 200 works of art, many rarely seen in the UK, as well as life-size recreations of avant-garde spaces.

Your tickets also include a complimentary drink voucher to enjoy either before or after your visit to the exhibition. Tickets are limited so must be booked in advance.

Our private views are extremely popular, if you're no longer able to attend drop us a line at Barbican Membership

The gallery will be open from 18.30 - 20.30 for the private viewing. Members can book up to two tickets for this event for them and a guest.

The exhibition is also made possible through support from the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany London, the Embassy of Mexico to the United Kingdom & AMEXID, and a Jonathan Ruffer Curatorial Research Grant from the Art Fund.
