Guildhall Chamber Music Festival

Marmen String Quartet

This early-afternoon concert offers up a delightful programme of German and Austrian chamber music by Richard Strauss, Ludwig Thuille and Franz Schubert.

Guildhall professors Daniel Jemison (bassoon), Tim Lowe (cello), Fraser MacAulay (oboe), Ursula Smith (cello) and Andrew Watkinson (violin) perform in collaboration with Guildhall instrumentalists, including String Quartet Fellows the Marmen Quartet – winners of the Grand Prize at the 2019 Bordeaux International String Quartet Compeititon and 2018 Royal Over-Seas League Competition.

Concert duration: approximately 1 hour 55 minutes (including interval)
