Citizen K (15)

Mikhail Khodorkovsky behind glass

This captivating documentary explores the experience of one wealthy Russian oligarch who became a unlikely martyr for the anti-Putin movement.

Director Alex Gibney charts the life of Russian businessman, Mikhail Khodorkovsky's, transformation from oligarch to political dissident. Citizen K explores how Khodorkovsky became a political enemy to Putin which led to him spending 10 years in a Siberian prison and labour camp.

After his release from prison in 2013 he fled to the UK where he now lives and sponsors anti-Putin activist groups, but not without a potential target on his back.
