Kids' Activity Workshop and My Modern House Book Launch

Drop in to our free kids' collage workshop celebrating the launch of illustrator Charlotte Trounce's children's book, My Modern House.

Pop into the Barbican Shop between 1–2.30pm and design your own 'Face House' inspired by Kazumasa Yamashita's Japanese landmark. Using a selection of pre-cut paper houses, colourful shapes and stickers you can craft your own dream home.

We're also launching Trounce's My Modern House, an activity book for budding designers bursting with drawing, colouring and sticker activities, alongside illuminating profiles of famous architects and the homes they created. We'll be offering 10% off to celebrate.

  • No experience required
  • Children must be over 5 years old
  • Workshop lasts approx 15 minutes
  • Maximum capacity: 15
  • Parents must accompany their children at all times
  • The workshop has a capacity of 15 children and it takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. At busy times there might be a queue. Please factor this in and arrive early to avoid dissapointment.
