Architecture on Stage: Amin Taha

Amin Taha, alumni of the office of Zaha Hadid, joins us to discuss his practice, Groupwork+Amin Taha.

Born in East Berlin to Sudanese and Iraqi parents, Amin Taha later moved to the UK and graduated in Architecture from the University of Edinburgh. He set up his own practice, Groupwork+Amin Taha after working in the office of Zaha Hadid.  The Barrett's Grove housing development in Stoke Newington was shortlisted for the Stirling Prize in 2017 and the practice has subsequently completed 15 Clerkenwell Close, a mixed-use building that makes innovative use of loadbearing stone and acommodates Taha's home and office.

The Architecture Foundation, in association with the Barbican, presents Architecture on Stage – a programme of talks and debates.

This lecture was previously Architecture on Stage: Superstudio in Conversation with Peter Cook. Due to ill health, we have had to cancel this lecture, and this evening will now consist of a lecture by Amin Taha.

Bookers will be contacted about this event change. If you still wish to attend, you don’t need to do anything: your booking remains valid. If you wish to cancel your booking, you will receive a full refund.
