Underwire Festival showcases short films that delve deep into onscreen masculinity through the gaze of female directors.


Brothers, fathers, sons, friends, bullies, stalkers... A different take on the female gaze that aims to unpack men onscreen. Moving, sensitive and passionate portraits of masculinity lend compassionate insight that extend beyond stereotypes.
