BBC Radio 3 Artist Spotlight: Veronika Eberle

Rush-hour concert

Veronika Eberle

BBC Radio 3 places the spotlight on four leading soloists, as part of its residency during September’s This is Rattle celebrations.

Veronika Eberle joins the week’s events with this special early-evening recital at LSO St Luke’s. Eberle found international acclaim at the age of just 16, when Sir Simon Rattle introduced her at the Salzburg Easter Festival in Beethoven’s Violin Concerto. It’s fitting, therefore, that she is the second performer to feature in BBC Radio 3’s Artist Spotlight recitals, which form part of the celebrations surrounding Sir Simon Rattle’s inaugural season as LSO Music Director.

As well as presenting a series of concerts at LSO St Luke’s, BBC Radio 3 is in residence at the Barbican for This is Rattle, hosting exhibitions and interactive workshops, including the opportunity to try your hand at producing your own radio show.

Recorded for broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on 27 September
