An exhibition of Plein Air painting by the artist Alan Lancaster.
Alan’s exhibition features paintings that were executed directly in front of his subjects, usually at the beginning or at the end of the day when the light is at its most striking.
Completed over a two year period, they represent his personal and penetrating views of this wonderful city.
You will be able to see the artist painting in the library, using still life as a convenient subject matter.
