We’re deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty The Queen.

In 1982, The Queen opened the Barbican and visited on a number of occasions in the last 40 years. We were and remain very grateful for Her Majesty’s support. Our thoughts are with The Royal Family at this time.

The Barbican remains open. During this period of national mourning we advise visitors to check our opening hours ahead of their visit.

The funeral of Her Majesty The Queen will take place on Monday 19 September. All events on that day will be rearranged or cancelled and the Barbican Centre will be closed. Ticket holders for this date will be contacted by our Box Office about next steps.
