Dust Bowl Ballads: Gwendolen Von Einsiedel

Photo taken by Dorothea Lange entitled Cars on the Road

Join Gwendolen Von Einsiedel for an evening of music in the Art Gallery

To accompany the exhibition Dorothea Lange: Politics of Seeing, British folk singer and music specialist Sam Lee curates a series of live music events in the gallery space in response to Dorothea Lange’s photographs of the Great Depression.

Musician, anthropologist, radio host, writer, and sometime ceilidh caller Gwennie brings together a clutch of London's finest old-time musicians to celebrate the treasure trove of North American traditional songs.

Free with your exhibition ticket on Thursday 30 August.

Performance times: 7-8.30pm
