The Phantom of the Opera discussions

This Sunday morning session features presentations on the role of different kinds of technology in adaptations of The Phantom of the Opera.

Raj Shah, (Textual Criticism), presents 'The art of ghosts, a battle of phantoms’: Leroux’s Le Fantôme de l’Opéra and its haunting of Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera.' 

Leslie McMurtry, University of Salford (Radio Studies), presents 'Living voices: The Phantom of the Opera, technology, and audio drama adaptation.'

Giorgio Biancorosso, Hong Kong University (Music), presents 'The Phantom of the Opera and the performance of cinema.' 

This sessions ends at 10:30am.
