The Colour of Pomegranates (U) + Introduction by Julian Anderson

Part of BBC SO Total Immersion: Julian Anderson

Still from Colour of Pomegranates

A stylized, surreal biography of Armenian Sayat-Nova (King of Song), whose life is depicted through amalgamations of poetic images.

The music is by Tigran Mansuryn and this was a film which hugely influenced Julian Anderson.

We are pleased to have Julian Anderson introduce this film.
