Amatis Trio 2018

The Amatis Trio launch the 2018–19 ECHO Rising Star series with a programme that includes a new commission by the Swedish composer Andrea Tarrodi – who draws her inspiration from art and landscape.

ECHO Rising Stars brings Europe’s finest young artists to the Barbican, well ahead of the field. As BBC New Generation Artists, the Amsterdam-based Amatis Trio already has a high reputation in London, and this programme showcases their energy and insight in classics of the piano trio repertoire, as well as the UK premiere of a new work by Andrea Tarrodi.
