The LSO Community Choir and Gamelan Group bring together powerful choral music and the hypnotic sounds of Gamelan to explore folk traditions from all four corners of the world.

Among familiar pieces like Wayfarin’ Stranger and Britten’s The Salley Gardens, the Choir performs choral arrangements from Japan, Latvia and Serbia, exploring international music with universal themes, and telling stories that have been passed down through the generations.

The Community Gamelan Group brings the music of Bali into the beautiful surroundings of LSO St Luke’s, performing traditional folk tunes with a contemporary twist. Together, they create spellbinding sounds with pieces inspired by other cultures.
