Guildhall presents Edward Bond's drama

Guildhall School presents Saved

Two strangers go home together; a mother takes her baby to the park; a young man mends a chair.

Mining the extremities of human experience on a South London council estate, Edward Bond’s anatomy of a forgotten generation changed the face of modern drama.

This play contains violence and scenes of a disturbing nature.

Listen to our podcast with director John Haidar and cast members Joe Bolland, Tom Glenister and Ellie Rawnsley as we discuss this production of Saved, from the play's ongoing relevance and importance to today's society and how theatre censorship has evolved since the play's premiere in the 1960s to the actors' research and getting to grips with their characters.

Promoted by the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Booking from 11 December. Priority booking for Guildhall Circle members
