BBC Radio 3 places the spotlight on four leading soloists, as part of its residency during September’s This is Rattle celebrations.

Change of Artist and Programme
Due to illness, Ingrid Fliter will no longer be performing in this concert. The LSO and BBC Radio 3 are grateful to pianist Ashley Wass for stepping in to perform at short notice. As a result, there will also be a change in programme.

These concerts form part of the celebrations surrounding Sir Simon Rattle’s inaugural season as LSO Music Director. As well as presenting a series of concerts at LSO St Luke’s, BBC Radio 3 is in residence at the Barbican for This is Rattle, hosting exhibitions and interactive workshops, including the opportunity to try your hand at producing your own radio show.
