Boy Blue: Cycles

Part of Scene Change

The Boy Blue ensemble perform on stage.

Following it's UK premiere here in 2024, the Olivier award-winning company's ★★★★★ 'triumphant celebration of the shared pleasures of dance.' (The Independent) returns to an exciting London venue.

Cycles is movement at its most fluid, distilled, skilled and alive. Resolute and unapologetic, Boy Blue's production is a joyful celebration of hip hop dance in all its forms. Feel the connection between bodies and beats as nine powerful dancers command the stage in perpetual motion.

Cycles honours the venue’s deep connection to live music by featuring a dynamic seven-piece band that will drive the rhythm forward.

Founded by Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante and Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy, the company – a Barbican Artistic Associate – has earned critical acclaim and Olivier Award nominations for their work. They have wowed audiences from New York to Taiwan and recently co-created the smash hit Free Your Mind in Manchester.

More information about ticket sales to be announced soon.

Running time: Approximately 90 minutes, including interval
