Join us at a heartfelt tribute to the late Bhai Gurmit Singh Virdee with his foremost disciples Harkirat Singh and Sukhdeep Singh.

Chakardar honours their Guru, the late Bhai Gurmit Singh Virdee with Harkirat Singh and Sukhdeep Singh.

Performing a vibrant tabla ensemble in Teental — the 16-beat cycle — they are joined by four outstanding students, symbolising the next generation of his legacy. 

Archival recordings of Bhai Gurmit Singh will be woven into the performance, allowing his voice and spirit to return to the stage. This powerful blend of live music and historic audio pays homage to his lasting impact while reigniting the inspiration that led thousands to embrace tabla and Indian classical music.
