Experience the much-anticipated Hand to Earth & SHABAKA concert and join the artists for a workshop exploring Australian First Nations music, dance and storytelling traditions.

Following Friday’s Hand to Earth & SHABAKA concert, deepen your experience with this participatory workshop led by the celebrated artists. Through music, dance and discussion, you will explore the world’s oldest continuously practised musical traditions, rooted in the ancestral Yolngu culture and country. This intimate two-hour session offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with Australian First Nations music, learn about their cultural practices and collaborative processes.

The workshop is led by Hand to Earth's world-class performers, whose artistic practice is rooted in Australian First Nations music, cross-cultural collaboration, dance and music-making.
