Writing Workshop with Siddarth Shrikanth

Writing Ecologies

Group of secondary school children crafting around a table in the conservatory, surrounded by plants

Join a writing workshop in our Conservatory with Siddarth Shrikanth, exploring our relationship with the natural world.

Reflect on the natural world through language. The first session in this new series will be led by Siddarth Shrikanth, author of The Case Against 'Nature'. Whether you're new to writing or more experienced, this session offers a space to think deeply and creatively about nature, ecology and our place within it.

Siddarth Shrikanth was named one of Prospect Magazine's Top Thinkers for 2024. An ecologist by training and formerly a foreign correspondent for the Financial Times correspondent, Siddarth has spent his career working on environmental initiatives across the world. He is now Director of Generation's nature investment strategy and a visiting research fellow at Oxford. His writing explores the intersection of ecology, economics and culture, challenging conventional approaches to nature conservation and sustainability.
