Led by artist and stage designer Erin Guan, the session is designed to spark creative instincts and open up new ways of thinking about performance and design.
Using Erin’s multidisciplinary approach, participants will be guided through a simplified and playful process of stage design. Through myth, moodboards, colour and collage, the workshop explores how stories come alive on stage - and how instinct can shape a visual world.
Participants will respond to creative provocations related to Prayers for a Hungry Ghost, working both collaboratively and independently to imagine scenes, atmospheres, and visual motifs. Intuition leads the way, inviting participants to explore what design can do when it’s grounded in feeling. No prior experience needed - just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
